A quick explainer for anyone who landed here by mistake, plus what to do if you’re already stuck with Dazzling.

If you found this page, there is a very good chance you were trying to reach Dazzling Cleaning and ended up with us, The Dazzle Cleaning Company, instead. It happens every day. We are not the same company, and the difference matters.

I am Logan, founder of The Dazzle Cleaning Company. We are a small, locally owned Seattle cleaning company, and most of the calls our office takes in a given week are from people looking for Dazzling, never to say how happy they are. That is the whole reason this page exists.

Here is the short version of who is who, how Dazzling actually works, and what to do if your card has already been charged.

We’re The Dazzle Cleaning Company, not Dazzling Cleaning

Who we are, and who we aren’t

We are The Dazzle Cleaning Company, a Seattle-based, gay-owned, eco-friendly house cleaning company. I started it more than ten years ago, we are a small team, and our office is easy to reach.

Dazzling Cleaning is a different, much larger national company. They also operate under the names HomeGlow and Forever Clean, and you may still see them referred to as Homejoy, an earlier brand that no longer exists. They are not based in Seattle, and they are not affiliated with us in any way.

If you are local to Seattle or the Eastside and you meant to book a real, accountable cleaning company, you are in the right place. If you meant to reach Dazzling, the rest of this page will help you sort out what to do next.

How Dazzling Cleaning actually works

People call us almost daily trying to figure out what they signed up for, so here is the plain version of how the Dazzling model is set up, based on what their customers describe to us.

The first booking is usually a loss-leader introductory clean, often advertised at a very low rate such as nine or nineteen dollars. Booking that introductory clean enrolls you in a recurring membership, which charges your card a monthly membership fee for as long as the account stays open. The fee, last we checked, sat around fifty dollars a month.

Once you are a member, you can book future cleanings through their platform. The membership itself does not guarantee that a clean actually happens, that it happens on time, or that the same crew shows up. The complaints we hear most often are about canceled appointments, surprise charges, and how hard it is to reach a human being to fix any of it.

We are not here to call them a scam. We are here to tell you what the structure is so you can make an informed call.

What to do if you are already stuck with Dazzling

If you have already been charged and you cannot get a response, two steps tend to work better than anything else.

First, file a report with the Better Business Bureau. Their complaint pipeline gets attention from companies that ignore email and phone.

Second, call your bank or card issuer and ask about disputing the charges. Banks deal with subscription-style billing disputes constantly and they know how to handle them.

Both moves are free, both create a paper trail, and together they tend to resolve things faster than waiting on a support reply.

Who we are, The Dazzle Cleaning Company

If you do live in Seattle or the surrounding Eastside, here is what booking with us actually looks like, so the contrast is clear.

We are a local Seattle company with a real office and a real phone line. Our Dazzlers are W2 employees, paid well, with benefits, because the only way to get consistent work in someone’s home is to take care of the people doing it.

We use plant-based, pet-safe, carbon-neutral cleaning products, made in-house with Dr. Bronner’s. They are safe for pets, kids, and the Puget Sound waters the runoff eventually reaches.

We do not lock anyone into a contract or a membership, ever. You can pause, reschedule, or cancel anytime. Recurring clients save money the honest way, through the math: more frequent visits mean less buildup, so each visit costs less than the one before. No tiers to escape from, no fees to cancel.

And we back every clean with the simplest promise in the industry: love it or it’s free, plus $100. If you are not happy, we come back. If you are still not happy, you do not pay and we send you a hundred dollars for the trouble.

Frequently asked questions

Are you the same company as Dazzling Cleaning?

No. We are The Dazzle Cleaning Company, a small, locally owned Seattle house cleaning company. Dazzling Cleaning, also known as HomeGlow and Forever Clean, and previously Homejoy, is a separate national company. We are not affiliated with them in any way.

I signed up for Dazzling by mistake. How do I cancel?

Start by trying to cancel directly through their website or app. If you cannot reach anyone, file a Better Business Bureau complaint and call your bank or card issuer to dispute any charges and stop future ones. Most people get a resolution faster through the bank than through Dazzling’s support channel.

Are you actually in Seattle?

Yes. We are a Seattle and Eastside cleaning company with a real office, a real phone line at (206) 424-9909, and a team of Dazzlers who live here. We clean homes from West Seattle to Redmond, with neighborhoods like Madrona, Mercer Island, Kirkland, and Bothell in between.

Do you have contracts or a membership fee?

No. No contracts, no memberships, ever. You can pause, reschedule, or cancel anytime. Recurring clients save money through the math, more frequent visits mean less buildup, so each visit costs less than the one before.

What is your guarantee?

Love it or it’s free, plus $100. If anything is not right, we come back and fix it. If you are still not happy, you do not pay, and we send you a hundred dollars for the trouble. That is the whole guarantee, in one line.

Not Sure About How Much Cleaning Costs in Seattle? We’ve Got Answers

Why doesn’t Dazzle just post one flat price?2026-06-15T07:05:00+00:00

Because no two homes are the same. A small, well-maintained apartment and a larger home that needs a full reset take very different amounts of time, so one price would overcharge some clients and shortchange others. Instead of a flat rate that is wrong for almost everyone, you get a real price built around your actual home, square footage or bedrooms and bathrooms, condition, and the clean you choose, in about two minutes.

How much does a house cleaning cost in Seattle?2026-06-15T07:05:01+00:00

Most professional cleans in Seattle run between $150 and $650 a visit. Where you land depends on the size of your home, how often it is cleaned, the condition it is in, and whether you book a lighter Express clean or a full Premium deep clean. A small, well-kept apartment sits at the low end, a larger home getting its first deep clean sits at the top. The fastest way to skip the guessing is to run your own home through our Instant Price tool and see your real number in about two minutes.

What if I’m not happy with the price or the clean?2026-06-15T07:05:03+00:00

Then we would rather you not hire us than be disappointed. The price you see in the Instant Price tool is your real, final price, with no hidden fees and no surprise callbacks. And if a clean ever falls short, we will make it right. If you are still not happy, that clean is free and we will send you $100 on top. No pressure, no hard sell, just an honest number and a guarantee behind it.

Is a deep clean worth the higher price?2026-06-15T07:05:04+00:00

For most first-time cleans, yes. A Premium deep clean is a top-to-bottom reset: hand-washed baseboards, doors and door frames, cabinet and appliance fronts, inside the microwave, and high and low dusting that a regular visit does not repeat. It costs more once, but it is the reason every clean after it goes faster and costs less. Think of it as the reset your home only needs occasionally, not every visit.

How can recurring cleaning cost less when I’m paying more often?2026-06-15T07:05:05+00:00

It is the per-visit price that drops, and it is math, not a discount. A home cleaned every two weeks has less buildup than one cleaned every four weeks, so each visit takes less time, and we pass that straight through. Weekly is the best value per visit, every two weeks is our most popular rhythm, and every four weeks still beats a one-time clean. And there are no contracts, ever, so you can pause, reschedule, or cancel anytime.
