What could be better than coming home to a clean house after a long day at work? You can then relax, kick up your feet, and enjoy a wine or sparkling soda. You now get to enjoy life and the peace of mind that come with what a residential cleaning service brings to the table.

How often should you tidy your house to keep it from looking cluttered and messy?

Well, that’s a difficult question to answer. I know I can clutter up a house very quickly! But if the carpets are vacuumed, the bathroom is dazzling, and my place smells clean, I’m ok with a little clutter.

Our house cleaners will pick up your clutter but we notice that many people tidy up before we even arrive. That woks out well because you know where your stuff goes. You may even get motivated to get even more organized. In addition, you’ll find yourself developing a bit of a habit of picking up the house once a week, before the residential cleaning service arrives. Month after this month this straightening, organizing and cleaning by the pros translates to a really clean, organized and relaxing place to hang out.

What are some of the best ways to de-clutter your house quickly and efficiently?

I’ve had parties before where, about a 10 minutes before the guests arrive, I find myself loading up bags of stuff and putting it into the closet! There’s a better way to do it! Here are a couple of really cool hints for keeping things de-cluttered:

  • The first thing to do is look around at what is making your home appear cluttered. See it with fresh eyes. Are there too many books laying around, or paperwork? Do you have towels or clothes that haven’t been put away? How about little things that you’re just not sure what to do with so they sit around make the place look messy.
  • Once you know what you need to get control over, devise a place to put things. For example, you can put together some easy shelving, even something decorative for those books. For those little things and even paperwork buy some of those easy plastic drawers you can buy at stores like Target or Walmart. This can do amazing things for you. All that stuff that is laying around can now have a home. AND, when you see clutter building, you’ll be able to tidy up easily because things have a place to be.
  • Or you can just let us help you out with the de-cluttering. Yes, we can handle it all!

The point of this section is to let you know that getting some of the clutter out of the way before the cleaners get their is a great way to get yourself organized. Then, just 5 minutes per day of quick de-cluttering will keep your place dazzling clean.

Don’t have enough time to clean your house?

Well, that’s the whole point. Most people quickly figure out that house cleaning takes time. Some folks spend one day of their weekend getting the house work done. That’s the way it was in the home I grew up in. No one was leaving on a Saturday unless the house had been cleaned to my mother’s standard! haha! But if you’re working 5 days a week and want to enjoy those weekends how great is it to be able to plan something besides cleaning on Saturday morning? Believe me, having professional residential cleaning is such a joy!
