We’re The Gayest Cleaning Company in America!
Okay, but what the hell does that even mean?
When I started Dazzle, I was sharing a basement apartment with friends that we called “The Gayest Apartment in America,” because everyone who lived there was gay, if not when they moved in, then certainly by the time they moved out. We thought this was hilarious. My friend Miriam, who also designed the Dazzle logo, suggested we call it The Gayest Cleaning Company in America. It felt perfect, and that was that.
Do you have to be gay or part of the LGBTQ+ community to work at or to hire Dazzle? No. And not just because verifying that credential would be so taxing on all involved, but because diversity is more interesting, more fun. We love having the straights around. How else would we know that the Dave Matthews Band still tours
Meet the Dazzlers
We hit the jackpot with this team, and we know it.
We’re lucky to have the best team in the industry. The Dazzlers are why our clients are happy, our reviews are glowing, and our quality scores stay consistently high. But the real reason it all works is simpler than any of that: the Dazzlers are good people.

Turns Out the Family Business Was Hiding in Plain Sight
Dazzle started in a Capitol Hill studio. It now somehow employs all three of my siblings, which was not the plan but is, on balance, going great.
Terry was the strategic brain behind Dazzle for a decade before he ever drew a paycheck from us. He helped build this thing from the outside until it got big enough to bring him in officially. Sam came on after Washington State cut funding for the epidemiology work she was doing, which is how we learned that public health brains are also alarmingly good at running cleaning operations. Patrick rounds out the lineup and is, as you can see, easy to pick up.
